I threatened to post these with no explanation, but it's just too silly to resist. Like all good stories, it starts out with "Well, we got bored....." and it ends with us in various costumes (I'm a pirate with a hook and a peg) falling out of our space pod escape capsule. Somewhere in the middle, there was a bear...and a giant floating hot dog that tried to drown me in mustard - Curse you, Oscar Meyer! - but I was saved by the duckies, so it's all good! Whew!

It was all a dream....

So much for posting every day. -*giggles*-

Fifty lashes with a wet noodle and I promise to try to do better in future. As you can see from the pictures, I've been a mite busy. Bunny and I have been playing a game we call pin-the-tail. We open up map and we pick a spot, any spot, and tp there. Then we look around for neat stuff to do. Yesterday we found some great parks full of kiddie and amusement rides. Here's Bunny and I with our little pets riding the teeter totter at one of the locations. Thanks and loads of smiles to the owners for being so kind and sharing!

Here is another great piccie of me on the pretty ponies on the carousel, waiting for Bunny to poof over and join me. Guess it just goes to show how many great things there are to do in Second Life with good friends!

In shop/sim news...the Talisman Treasure Hunt has been postponed due to the fact Hazel...um....Hazel deleted the shop. There, I said it. -*eyeroll*- -*giggle*-

As soon as it's rebuilt, we'll be holding the treasure hunt. I've got a great little dress/lingerie combo I'll be giving out in one as one of my treasures. Not certain what the other treasures from Gertilicious will be just yet, maybe that will just be a surprise! The hunt will be announced here on my blog and in various places on the grid as well, so be sure to watch for it!

This and That about the Grid

Well, I have gushed about my shop, Gertilicious, and all the great shops with all the great freebies on the island with it for simply ages now, so how about some other doins round the grid?

The Relay for Life on SL is set to kick off March 17th, so be sure to hop on by for a look at all the great merchandise donated by SL vendors. I'll post pictures of my donation here...just as soon as I figure out what it will be.

If anyone sees Abigail Kohime on the grid today, be sure to give her a big huggle and tell her how much she will be missed as that horrible body snatcher, RL, pulls her away from SL for three months!

A Fine Time Had By All

So the first day of the Talisman island being open to the public has come and gone and it was a great day in SL on the island for all of us. I stopped by for a quick chat with Lady Hathaway of Tutorials 2 Go, pictured here. For those of you just starting to build and sculptie, this is your one stop shop for everything you'd care to know about creating a better second life for yourself. If any of you out there have not been by the all new and can't be improved upon Talisman island, you really should pop on by. Check out the great new tent fabfree has erected over near the Talisman shop and grab all the great original freebies you can from the shops around the island. Hazel has put out the word the Great Valentine Hunt is set to begin February first and wind up on February 14th, so be sure to pop back and have a good search round for all those great prizes!

Ready to Begin

As you can see the bubbly has been purchased, and the party is ready to start. Everyone's excited, and we hope you will be too when you visit our new island to check out all the great new things we've put there. Hazel has put out the word the island will be opened at midnight tonight, so jump on a tp and hang on tight for some fun and festivities in our beautiful island breezes.





My spies on the street tell me everything is in readiness for a great opening day, but watch out for the mutant ducks and other silliness~!
